DMUsport scholars are awarded up to £6,000 of financial support. This includes a cash bursary of up to £4,000 and up to £2,000 value in kind funding that can be used for sport-specific costs.

We have an experienced team of experts that supports each scholar. Our elite performance package includes personalised strength and conditioning training, educational performance workshops, nutrition and psychology guidance and performance lifestyle support.

We are an ambitious sports institution and have recently invested millions of pounds into state-of-the-art facilities. All DMUsport scholars are given gold membership to the outstanding Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Leisure Centre. We have a sport performance Watershed Facility which has dedicated strength and conditioning facilities for sport scholars. Beaumont Park is home to the DMU Football, Rugby, Lacrosse and American Football.

The Sport Scholarship supports talented student athletes competing at a high representative level. Scholars must be on an undergraduate or postgraduate course at DMU* and compete in a sport that is part of the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) programme or included in the Commonwealth, Olympic or Paralympic Games programme.

My counsellor contacted me every day throughout the application process and helped me receive an unconditional offer. I am so grateful to SI-UK and will never forget them. I will study very hard as I feel this is the best reward I can give the whole team.
