23 October 2018

The University of Nottingham has been crowned as the University of the Year for International and Sports by the 2019 The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide.

Nottingham has campuses in the UK, China and Malaysia, with students benefitting from international collaborations in the areas of teaching and research. In the area of sport, the University recently launched a new Sport and Exercise Science programme, complementing its UK leading courses in Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy. Nottingham also has the largest intramural sports league with over 3,500 students playing against each other each week. In addition, Nottingham also rose to 16th in the Times 2019 league table.

President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shearer West, said: “At a time of unprecedented change in higher education, and in the wider world, the University of Nottingham is a thriving institution offering an outstanding student experience, world-changing research and a global reputation for excellence.”

My counsellor contacted me every day throughout the application process and helped me receive an unconditional offer. I am so grateful to SI-UK and will never forget them. I will study very hard as I feel this is the best reward I can give the whole team.
