The University of Cambridge has retained its position at the top of the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide for a fifth consecutive year.
The University topped 30 of the 67 subject tables that feature in the 2018 Guide, as well as having the highest average completion rate for any university in the UK, with 98.9% of graduates seeing their course through to the end.
The top five remained largely the same as in 2017, with Oxford as runner up, St Andrews (third) and only Imperial College London (fourth) and Durham (fifth) swapping places.
