Webinar: Pre-departure Guide for Nigerian Students

Learn more about visas, travel plans and what to expect in the UK in this special pre-departure guide for students who want to study in the UK.

Day 1

1. Visa Counseling Session (Online seminar on all there is to getting your Student Visa ready)
2. Travel Plans/Solutions (A talk session to be anchored by travel partners to enlighten Students on how, when and where to book their flights, all that MUST be done before the flight day, documents to keep handy etc.)
3. What to expect in the UK (Culture shock, Weather, Food etc.)
4. On-arrival support (What schools that have free arrival pickups, best/cheapest commuting modes in the UK etc.)

Day 2

1. Accommodation (Enlighten students on how to go about getting accommodation in school, the pros and cons of living on campus/outside campus etc.)
2. Employment (Discussion on the realities of work-study i.e. working while studying)
3. Healthcare (Health Insurance, tests to be conducted before departure etc.)
4.  What to pack

Day 3

1. General Question and Answer Session
2. Get-together party, meet and greet and networking session
3. Games (How well do you know your school? (This will be a games session where Students will be asked to say a few things about their schools or asked random questions about their schools, 3 most popular places around their school etc.)
4. Winners will win gift items/incentives that will be decided upon by the organizing committee based on budget made available.
