University of Loughborough receives top marks from students for student experience
17 March 2016
The Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey has revealed that the University of Loughborough offers the best student experience in the UK.
Loughborough rose one place from last year’s ranking, narrowly beating out Harper Adams University and the University of Sheffield. Oxford, Leeds, UEA, Newcastle, Bath, Cambridge and Keele rounded out the top ten.
Times Higher Education surveyed more than 15,000 undergraduate students on 21 different areas of student life for the poll. John Gill, editor of Times Higher Education, said: "Increasing competition between universities and an intense focus on the student experience are still top of the agenda for the higher education sector. As our survey shows, students are becoming more professional in their approach to their studies. They are investing more in their education and are far more clear-eyed in what they expect from their university.”
